 
Effective
August 1, 2006, Mr. Brian Tenclinger assumed the post of CEO and Executive Director. Mr.
Tenclinger is the 13th individual, and 2nd non-Triangle, to take the helm of Triangle.
As Triangle’s Executive Director, Tenclinger serves as the
organization’s CEO with responsibility for all areas of Fraternity
operations, including expansion, membership growth, financial
management, national meeting planning and educational resource
development. In addition, Brian guides Triangle in implementing its
aggressive strategic plan which calls for significant growth of the
Fraternity and increased relevance to the fields of Engineering,
Architecture and Science.
Tenclinger earned his bachelor’s degree in English and Secondary Education from
Northern Illinois University and completed a master’s degree in Education
Administration and Supervision at
Northwest Missouri State University in 1993. As of January 2008, Tenclinger is a
candidate for the doctorate in leadership and higher education administration
from Capella University - he is currently researching and writing his
dissertation.
While in graduate school at Northwest Missouri State University, Brian was a
residence hall director, joined Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity, and served as
a faculty advisor for an NIC-member fraternity. After receiving his master’s degree, his student affairs
career path has taken him to The Florida State University, Tulane University,
Iowa State University, and Texas A&M University. In addition to his full-time
work, Brian is also volunteers for his own fraternity,
Sigma Phi Epsilon, and as a national volunteer for the Children’s Miracle
Network Dance Marathon program. Brian will sail on the May 2011 "Engineering a New Tomorrow" Semester at Sea voyage as the Assistant Dean of Students. Tenclinger is an extensively published author and sought after
presenter and keynote speaker.
