Br. Ahmed Awadallah (Lou07), a junior Bio Engineering major, was elected to the office of Academic Vice-President in the University of Louisville Student Government election last spring. Awadallah had served as an Engineering senator and proxy for the first two years of college. Awadallah states that Br. Darrell Messer (Lou03) was an inspirational leader within Student Government Association as Br. Messer served as Student Body President for the 2006-2007 school year. Ahmed’s duties include serving as the student representative and voice to the Faculty Senate, chair of the SGA Academic Policy Board, and advise and administer all academic policy of the Student Senate and the University of Louisville. He is also very proud to be able to represent and show Triangle leadership to the rest of campus. Ahmed also He serves as the National Association of Engineering Student Councils (NAESC) National VP Outreach, and is the House Manager for the Louisville Chapter.
