Mike Friedman is currently an active member of the University of Michigan’s growing chapter of over 55+ men. In his 2 years as a brother, Mike has served as his chapter's Recruitment Chair, Housing Committee Chair, and Vice President of Internal Affairs, and is currently serving as President of the Michigan Chapter. As a sophomore, Mike served as Project Manager of the University of Michigan's Human Powered Submarine Team and helped lead the team to a third place finish at the 2007 "International Submarine Races" held at the US Navy's David Taylor Model Basin in Carderock, Maryland. Mike is also one of the founding members of Michigan Parkour, and teaches others the basics of the athletic discipline similar in methodology to a martial art. In the private sector, Mike has worked for CUH2A, Toyota, and GE and plans on working in the energy sector when he graduates. Mike works hard to maintain his scholastic focus and has maintained an impressive 3.5 GPA as an engineering student at Michigan.
