Scott E. Bova, CFRE currently serves as the President of the Triangle Education
Foundation. Scott joined the Triangle Foundation staff in June of 2000. As
President Bova is responsible for the daily operations of the Foundation and all
avenues of income.
Previously, Bova served as the Chief Operating Officer of the Phi Kappa Theta
National Foundation, where he joined staff in 1995 as the Director of Alumni
Affairs and Development and was elevated to the position of COO in January of
1997.
At Phi Kappa Theta he was responsible for all alumni relations, donor
cultivation, and solicitation for the Foundation. In addition, he served as
Managing Editor of Phi Kappa Theta’s national magazine, The TEMPLE, and
coordinated all volunteer activities, including selection and training.
Bova received a Bachelors degree in Sports Marketing and Media Relations from
Ohio University. During his tenure at Ohio, he was employed by the Vice
President for Administration, and was involved primarily in the development,
planning, funding and construction of the new 24 million dollar student
recreation facility. Following his graduation Bova went on to work for the
Detroit Lions in their Marketing Department.
Currently residing in Carmel, Indiana, Bova is active in the Indianapolis
community. He is a a current
member of the Indiana Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals,
is President of the Board of Options in Education Charter High School and Vice
President of the Phi Kappa Theta Education Foundation,
in addition, he has volunteered for the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championships, Big
Ten Basketball Championships, Indy Reads Adult Literacy Program and various
other special projects. Bova is currently an Indiana State licensed football
and basketball referee and baseball
umpire and spends his spring and summer umpiring competitive high school and
college baseball throughout the state.
He is a past chair of The NIC Foundations Seminar, Operations Chair for Indiana
Fund Raising Day and currently Co-Chair of the Indiana Philanthropy Awards
Dinner and Chair of the AFP Chapter Marketing Committee. He has presented for
several groups and seminars on alumni relations, volunteer management, board
operations, and basic fund raising. He earned his Certified Fund Raising
Executive (CFRE) designation in the fall of 2002.
Angie Christie
Annual Fund Director

Angie Christie currently serves as the Annual Fund Director for Triangle
Education Foundation. Angie is responsible for the Foundation’s direct mail
campaigns, donor stewardship, online marketing and newsletters.
She comes to Triangle with over 10 years of experience in Direct Marketing and
Fundraising. Previously, Angie worked for Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis, a
youth service organization where she assisted in a successful $4 million capital
campaign and went on to manage their annual fund campaigns, special events and
marketing.
She is a member of the AFP, Association of Fundraising Professionals and PRSA,
Public Relations Society of America. She is also an Indiana State Licensed Real
Estate Agent and volunteers for the Avon Soccer Association, Brownsburg School
Corporation, and other charitable organizations.
Angie resides in Brownsburg, IN with her husband and two daughters, Danielle and
Kaci who keep her busy with Soccer and Cheerleading and other extracurricular
activities. She enjoys boating, gardening and spending time with her family.

Ryan Hayes
Director of Development

Ryan Hayes as the Foundation's Director of Development. Ryan came to the
Foundation after a stint as the Program and Funding Manager with the National
Junior Tennis League of Indianapolis. Prior to that position he was the
Assistant Sales Manager with Williamsburg Homes in Lake Village, Indiana. While
pursuing an advance degree in Valparaiso University’s Master of Sports
Administration Program, Ryan also completed a pair of internships with Priority
Sports in Chicago and the Valparaiso Parks Department working primarily in
marketing and fund raising.
As an undergraduate Sociology and Business student at Valparaiso University Ryan
was an active member Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity. His Fraternity experience
included serving on the chapter’s executive board and representing the
Fraternity as a delegate to the Interfraternity Council.
In addition to his fraternity experiences he also had the opportunity to be a
student-athlete on the Crusader’s Track & Field Team and be a part of the squad
that won the 2000 Pioneer Football League Championship. Hayes was successful at
maintaining a steady and impressive 3.5 GPA while pursuing both his
undergraduate and graduate degrees.
Ryan will be responsible for soliciting annual fund gifts of $250 or greater.
He will be traveling extensively visiting with Triangle alumni and sharing with
them the work the Foundation does.
Judith Robb

Judy has spent many years working the Insurance Field in various capacities,
from an agent to a Customer Service Representative for a large insurance company
here in the Indianapolis area.
Judy and her husband recently returned to Indiana from a 3 year stay in
Greenville, North Carolina. She has three grown sons and now 6 wonderful
Grandchildren. She enjoys scrapbooking, quilting, and gardening. Judy and her
husband live in the Plainfield area.

Polly Courtot

Polly began her employment with Triangle Education Foundation in September 2003.
She comes to us with over 20 years of accounting experience. Her previous
employment was with a Construction Company where she was employed as Controller
and Secretary Treasure for over 5 years.
Polly is married with three growing children. She and her husband Dennis moved
their family to Plainfield 5 years ago so that they could be closer to Dennis’
employment at Con-Way Central Express. Their children Rachael, Rebecca and Andy
keep them busy with band, choir, boy scouts and track. In her “spare time”,
Polly enjoys baking, gardening and taking long walks on the White Lick Creek
trails here in Plainfield.
