Who are the President's Men?
The President's Men is an undergraduate giving society. It's only for
current undergraduates and is an opportunity for you to help
support the Triangle Education Foundation and the programs and services that
in turn benefit you!
How much does it cost?
Membership in the society is $25 a year.
Where does the money go?
The money is a charitable gift to the Triangle Education Foundation and is
used to fund the various educational programs of the foundation, including the
Educational Leadership Consultants, Herbert F. Scobie Leadership School, and
the Steven L. Miller President's Academy.
What do I get?
Members who join get a unique President's Men t-shirt. In addition,
President's Men will be listed in future editions of Triangle Review,
Foundation Focus, and other Triangle publications.
How do I join?
Online donations
are now accepted, or you may download and mail
this form. We accept cash,
check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and AMEX. Chapters can use
this form to sign up more then one member. (You must
download the
Acrobat Reader in order to view or print the donation form.) How can
my membership in the President's Men benefit my chapter?
The Foundation has developed three incentive programs for chapter participation
in the President's Men. For every chapter with 5 or more members, the chapter
will receive a $50 grant towards their Scobie Leadership School bill. In
addition the top chapters in participation and total number will each receive a
$500 educational grant to be used as they see fit. In order to
qualify for either of the awards, a chapter must have a minimum of 5 members,
and a chapter can not win both awards.
How do I get to design the 2008 - 2009 President's Men t-shirt?
Submissions are now be accepted for the 2008 -2009 President's Men t-shirt.
The winner will receive a $250 cash prize. Deadline is May 1, 2008.
