We hear your concerns about fees and dues and have created a program to provide credits to your national account for growh. National Active Fees (NAFs) are directly impacted by undergraduate membership. If member numbers go down, as they have for the last two years, the NAF has to increase to provide the same income. But if chapters grow, those fees can stabilize or reduce. Therefore, we are announcing credits to chapter accounts based on your success in growing your chapter. Here’s how it works:
Chapters that increase overall membership by 3 men will receive a credit to their chapter account of $15 per member ($300 for a chapter of 20 men; $900 for a chapter of 60); those that grow by 5 men will receive a credit to their chapter account of $25 per member ($500 for a chapter of 20 men; $1,500 for a chapter of 60) and; chapters that increase overall membership by 10 or more will receive a credit of $50 per member ($1,000 for a 20 man chapter; $3,000 for chapter of 60). Keep in mind, this looks at total membership numbers, not just how many you pledge. To grow, you will need to bring in new members AND keep current members active.
In order to qualify, you must be current with any HQ billings as of that date and must report all new members and initiates within the required deadlines. Amounts will be credited to your chapter accounts on June 1, 2019, based on the total number of paid National Active Fees (NAFs) for the year. For our smaller chapters, it’s a strong incentive for growth, as every dollar is important to success. For our larger chapters, it’s an opportunity to have thousands of dollars in credits to apply toward Convention, LTW or next year’s NAF billings.
NOTE: If you need assistance to plan or execute your recruitment program, contact Augie Farwig – email@example.com. If overall membership can increase, NAFs can not only stop increasing for inflation but can be reduced over time… it’s just math!
