THIS MONTH'S FEATURED STORIES
Updating Chapter Rosters
Just as a reminder, the Triangle Bylaws require all new members to be reported and fees paid no more than 14 days after pinning.
All initiations should be requested and fees paid no less than 14 days in advance of your scheduled initiation ceremony. Please work with your officers to make sure these deadlines are met. It saves the chapter late fees and we're pretty sure you have better use for your funds than fines.
Preparing for 2024 National Convention
Start planning now to have delegates at our National Convention in Milwaukee, WI. We will be at the Hyatt Regency, just steps away from the Milwaukee Riverwalk and tons of great tourist venues. Convention is the highest governing body of the Fraternity and each chapter is expected to have two voting delegates.
Travel expenses are the responsibility of the chapter, but once you arrive - room, board, and registration fees are covered by the Chapter Fee chapters pay each year.
Registration will open soon, so start to identify your delegates now, and budget appropriately to get them to Milwaukee!
Leveraging FIRST in Recruitment
Triangle is a proud partner of FIRST ® Robotics as both organizations emphasize the importance of STEM and connection. FIRST ® Robotics offers many opportunities to volunteer, support, or engage with students interested in STEM before they even step foot on campus. Last year, over 200 incoming freshmen applied for the National FIRST ® Robotics Scholarship! Which can be found here!
We encourage active members to contact localFIRST ® alumni groups on their campus and share details of upcoming recruitment events. Recruitment materials should include information on our partnership with FIRST ® Robotics and any photos from community service events. If you would like to discuss more about how to incorporate FIRST ® into your recruitment efforts contact Lilly Bowman at Lilly@Triangle.org.
CEF Fund Applications Due May 31
The Triangle Education Foundation adopted the Chapter Endowment Fund Program to help address individual chapter needs. The program is designed to provide additional funding to a chapter each year to support educational, leadership, and academic programs that advance the mission of Triangle and the Foundation in building better men in the fields of engineering, architecture, and science. This exciting program provides opportunities to fund the educational purposes of Triangle chapters and the educational and leadership needs of its undergraduate brothers. To apply for the use of chapter funds, or to learn more about how your CEF can be used. Click the button below.
