Triangle Program Volunteer Form

Please complete the form below to express your interest in one of our programs or volunteer positions. This form is used for Leadership & Training Weekend, Scobie Leadership School and for our FHSI Advisor and Recruitment Coach training programs.  For more information contact us at HQ@triangle.org.

Programs/Positions are as follows:

Chapter Coaching Team members are a team of three or more adult volunteers – Triangle or non – who agree to 5-10 hours per month to coach individual chapter officers. Teams ideally include an executive coach (active president), finance coach (treasurer), recruitment coach (recruitment), membership coach (new member education) and faculty advisor. Online training is available for general volunteers and additional resources are available for individual coaching areas.

LTW Facilitators are Triangle alumni or Greek Life professionals who facilitate one of our leadership tracks (each track is one Triangle alumnus and one Greek Life campus professional). LTW includes tracks for Presidents, Treasurers, Recruitment Chairs, New Member Educators, Philanthropy/PR Chairs and Emerging Leaders. Facilitators stay at the camp with the students and serve as cabin “counselors” as well. This is a three-day commitment, arriving Friday by 10 AM and departing after 1 PM Sunday. Most costs of attendance and training are underwritten by Triangle.

FHSI Facilitator Training involves two days of training in the FHSI Risk Education program. Attendees will be taught all four modules – Alcohol/Drugs, Hazing, Sexual Misconduct and Mental Health – and how to present these to our campus chapters. Once completed, these volunteers are expected to present at least one program per term to one or more chapters. Most costs of attendance and training are underwritten by Triangle.

Recruitment Coach Training is two days of training in recruitment techniques and technology, so coaches can deliver education, skills and support to one or more chapters each. Coaches help chapters build recruitment skills, design a year-round recruitment program, set specific goals and responsibilities, then follow through to success. Coaches are expected to give a minimum of ten hours per month to support their assigned chapters. Most costs of attendance and training are underwritten by Triangle.

Scobie Leadership School Facilitators are much like LTW, as they will team up to coach and encourage undergraduate “teams” during Scobie weekend in odd-numbered summers. They will stay in the residence hall during the weekend and serve also as dorm “counselors”. This is a four-day commitment, arriving Thursday by 11 AM and departing after 1 PM Sunday. Most costs of attendance and training are underwritten by Triangle.

National Convention Student Interns serve with Triangle staff to ensure the success of our program. They will arrive a day or two early and help set up registration, then are on call during the weekend to help with room and/or A/V setup, program delivery and assessment, speaker/guest relations, and general participant satisfaction. They will work closely with Fraternity, Foundation and TBHC staff and boards during the event. This is a four- or five-day commitment and lodging is provided in the host hotel. Most costs of attendance and training are underwritten by Triangle.

NOTE: Please note that submitting an application is not a guarantee you will be selected. Do not make any travel or other purchases until you are confirmed as an attendee. In fact, for those accepted to LTW or Scobie related programs, we may need you to use our preferred travel agent to make those purchases. Thank you!
