Tom joined the Fraternity staff in 2016 and brings a wealth of knowledge to the team, having served over 30 years as a campus and fraternity professional, speaker, consultant, and volunteer. He is a former 3-time president of the NIC Foundation (now Foundation for Fraternal Excellence) and a founder of the annual Institute for Greek Advancement (now FFE Summit). Tom is a member of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity and served Phi Psi as a senior staff member, CEO of the national foundation and on its national council.
As the Executive Director, Tom works collaboratively with the Triangle Education Foundation and Triangle Building and Housing Corporation, implements the Fraternity’s long-range plans, oversees Triangle’s excellent staff, and works with our Health & Safety Initiative. He travels regularly to visit chapters, attend alumni events and respond to specific campus needs.

Hired in 1991 as a bookkeeper for the Fraternity, Rhonda Halcomb is the organization’s longest tenured employee. She was promoted to Director of Operations where she oversees the business aspects of the national organization, including finances, event registration, headquarter building operations, and human resources. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University and has served her community in a variety of capacities, including president of a home economics club and women’s leader in her church.

Drew joined Triangle Fraternity staff in July 2017 as the Fraternity’s Director of Alumni Engagement and moved to Director of Chapter Services July of 2018. Drew now handles programming and resources for Triangle’s 40+ campus groups, as well as handling responsibility for our chapter visitation and assessment program.
Drew joined that staff after two years at the University of West Georgia where he worked in the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life while earning his Masters of Education in Counseling. Hopson is a member of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity but has volunteered and interned with several men’s college fraternities including Phi Kappa Tau and Pi Lambda Phi, as well as several NIC leadership programs and regional Interfraternity meetings. Drew is a graduate of DePaul University in Chicago, where he was a recipient of numerous scholarships and awards for leadership, academic performance, and service.

Nicki has a history of campus-based work at Arizona State University, Emory University, Millikin University, Purdue University, and most recently, Delta Chi Fraternity. She is an active member of the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors (AFA) and the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and serves as a volunteer for Delta Phi Epsilon sorority, for which she is a member. Nicki is a graduate of Central Michigan University and earned her master’s degree in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Ball State University, where she also received her College and University Teaching Certificate.
Nicki will work closely with the Council Education Committee and be the primary staff member responsible for creating, delivering , and assessing our online and in-person educational programs and events. She also will be our contact for FHSI/risk management education resources.

Jim joins us from the Expansion/Growth staff of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He graduated from Franklin College in 2018 with a degree in Public Relations. At Franklin he served as the President, 2nd Vice President, Treasurer and Ritualist of his chapter, and served on the Franklin IFC Executive Board. During his time on Lambda Chi Alpha staff he worked with 22 different chapters and was involved with three expansion projects.
Additionally, Jim served on Lambda Chi Alpha’s Student Advisory Committee that led him to serve as one of the four undergraduates on Lambda Chi’s Board of Directors. He is passionate about growth and working with chapters to make successful plans to reach their full potential.

Quinn has re-joined the Triangle Fraternity Staff as a Regional Leadership Specialist. In her role, she focuses on growth and educational development, as well as the membership experience and retention with chapters in the midwest.
Quinn graduated from Iowa State University in 2018 with a degree in Marketing and Sales. During her undergraduate experience, she served as President of her sorority, Alpha Delta Pi, as well as serving on the Panhellenic Executive Board. Quinn worked for Alpha Delta Pi Sorority as a Leadership Consultant during the 2018-19 school year, working with 16 different campuses across the country.
Additionally, Quinn has worked within the fraternal industry at large, serving as Student Coordinator for the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute (UIFI) and as an Intern for the Association of Fraternal Leadership and Values (AFLV).
She is passionate about bringing new and innovative ideas to the fraternity experience while catering to the specific needs of each chapter she works with. Her focus remains upon the mechanics that are fundamental to grow successful organizations, always focusing upon her ultimate goal of building better men.

Scott E. Bova, CFRE currently serves as the President of the Triangle Education Foundation. Scott joined the Triangle Foundation staff in June of 2000. As President Bova is responsible for the daily operations of the Foundation and all avenues of income.
Previously, Bova served as the Chief Operating Officer of the Phi Kappa Theta National Foundation, where he joined the staff in 1995 as the Director of Alumni Affairs and Development and was elevated to the position of COO in January of 1997. At Phi Kappa Theta he was responsible for all alumni relations, donor cultivation, and solicitation for the Foundation. In addition, he served as Managing Editor of Phi Kappa Theta’s national magazine, The TEMPLE, and coordinated all volunteer activities, including selection and training.
Bova received a Bachelors degree in Sports Marketing and Media Relations from Ohio University. During his tenure at Ohio, he was employed by the Vice President for Administration and was involved primarily in the development, planning, funding and construction of the new 24 million dollar student recreation facility. Following his graduation, Bova went on to work for the Detroit Lions in their Marketing Department.
Currently residing in Carmel, Indiana, Bova is active in the Indianapolis community. He is a current member of the Indiana Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, is President of the Board of Options in Education Charter High School and Vice President of the Phi Kappa Theta Education Foundation, in addition, he has volunteered for the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championships, Big Ten Basketball Championships, Indy Reads Adult Literacy Program and various other special projects. Bova is currently an Indiana State licensed football and basketball referee and baseball umpire and spends his spring and summer umpiring competitive high school and college baseball throughout the state.
He is a past chair of The NIC Foundations Seminar, Operations Chair for Indiana Fund Raising Day and currently Co-Chair of the Indiana Philanthropy Awards Dinner and Chair of the AFP Chapter Marketing Committee. He has presented for several groups and seminars on alumni relations, volunteer management, board operations, and basic fundraising. He earned his Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation in the fall of 2002.

Aaron M. Girson currently serves as the Vice President for the Triangle Education Foundation. Aaron joined the Foundation staff in December 2012. Aaron is responsible for development and stewardship of major gifts from alumni and friends of Triangle Fraternity as well as the oversight of the Council of Emerging Leaders and the Campaign for Triangle.
Aaron comes to the Triangle Foundation after more than eighteen years of experience at Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity where he served as a Field Representative, Director of Chapter Services, Executive Director and Foundation Executive Vice President.
Aaron’s leadership was a major component of the success of Sigma Alpha Mu’s $5 million Centennial Campaign. Aaron is a graduate of Western Michigan University where he was a founding member of the Sigma Alpha Mu chapter; while at Western he was honored as the Greek Man of the Year, and as Sigma Alpha Mu’s Outstanding Chapter President. He is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and is an Honorary Life Member of the Fraternity Executives Association.
Aaron is a past Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Fraternity Executive’s Association, has served on the North-American Interfraternity Foundation’s Nominating and Institute for Greek Advancement committees. Aaron’s interests include golf, travel, boating, reading and history.

Amy Buchheit, CFRE currently serves as the Senior Director of Development for Triangle Education Foundation. Amy is responsible for the Triangle Fund and the planned giving program at the Foundation.
Having spent the last nine years in fundraising, Amy came to the Foundation in January 2013, having previously worked for the Sigma Sigma Sigma Foundation, where she was the first GOLD development officer. She then transitioned to regional healthcare fundraising, where she lead a $2.5 million capital campaign, as well as an endowment campaign, where she secured six and seven figure current and deferred gifts. She is excited to be back in the “Greek World”, where both of her passions- fundraising and the fraternal movement- lie.
Amy is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and was a member of the Beta Xi chapter of Sigma Sigma Sigma. She holds a Certificate in Fund Raising Management from the School of Philanthropy at Indiana University and the Certified Fund Raising Executive designation. She is actively involved in the Institute for Leaders in Development, as well as the Colorado Planned Giving Roundtable.
When not meeting with donors, Amy and her husband, Dr. Andrew, a ceramic engineer, reside in Denver with their daughter, Agnes. She enjoys quilting, knitting and snowshoeing.

Kate Planow, currently serves as the Director of Development for Triangle Education Foundation. Kate is responsible for donor engagement and development of gifts for the Triangle Fund, program endowments, and housing campaigns.
Kate joins the team with experience as a campus-based fraternity and sorority professional as well as time in residential life, alongside her experience with fraternal headquarters. Most recently she was with Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity as their Event Manager, coordinating their national and regional events. Prior to that she ran the expansion and growth team for Kappa Delta Rho Fraternity; she also spent a year as the Assistant Executive Director of Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority. She’s excited to bring her fraternal knowledge to Triangle.
Kate is a graduate of University of Hartford where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and was a member of the Psi Beta chapter of Phi Mu. She earned her Master of Science degree in Counseling from Central Connecticut State University. She is a national volunteer for Phi Mu in their Leadership & Curriculum Development department and has facilitated at many leadership conferences, including two Herbert Scobie Leadership Schools.
When not working at Triangle or her life and leadership coaching business, she travels to the beach as much as possible or can be found reading or at CrossFit.

Carrie Loveless will be serving as the Director of Alumni Engagement and Stewardship for Triangle Education Foundation. Carrie will be responsible for the Council of Emerging Leaders, alumni volunteers, Triangle Connect and Fraternity Fundraising.
Carrie joins the team with experience as a campus-based, undergraduate admissions professional as well as working as an Educational Leadership Consultant for Alpha Xi Delta National Women’s Fraternity. Additionally, she worked in harm-reduction education and student conduct during her time at The University of Mississippi.
Carrie is a graduate from the University of Central Florida where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Clinical Health Sciences and is a member of the Theta Sigma chapter of Alpha Xi Delta. She earned her Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Personnel from The University of Mississippi. She is a national volunteer for Alpha Xi Delta; serving as a Chapter Development Specialist specifically assisting the organization’s newly established chapters.
In her spare time, she enjoys crafting, soaking up the Florida sun, and attending college football games (Go Knights!).

Mr. Michael Fouts assumed the post of Executive Director of the Triangle Building & Housing Corporation (TBHC) in summer of 2015. Michael is the TBHC’s first full-time Executive Director. His responsibilities include consulting with local alumni groups about potential housing options, development of housing educational programs, facility management, and alumni engagement.
Fouts first came to Triangle Fraternity in 2011 when he joined the Triangle Fraternity National Headquarters staff as the organization’s first Director of Alumni Services. In this role Fouts was responsible for coordinating alumni services provided by the National Fraternity and assisting with services requested by alumni members and local housing corporations.
Michael Fouts joined the Triangle Fraternity National Headquarters team after many years working with the men’s fraternal movement. He served Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity for five years as a Regional Director and Coordinator for Housing Development and Support. Prior to that, he worked at Indiana State University as the Director of Academic Peer Advocates Programming. Most recently, Fouts served as the Program Director for the Engineering Peer Mentors program at Western Michigan University.
Michael holds two bachelor’s and two master’s degrees, including a master’s in higher education and student affairs. He has presented numerous programs and workshops across the country focusing on membership recruitment, risk management, and alumni engagement.

Director of Operations
Denise is originally from Anderson, Indiana and graduated from Anderson University with a degree in Accounting. She is a CPA with 20 years of accounting experience and has spent half of her career in public accounting and half in private industry as an accounting manager/controller for a number of different industries. She has extensive experience in property management going all the way back to her public accounting days where she used to audit HUD subsidized apartments.
