2022 NATIONAL CONVENTION FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When Should I Arrive?

All participants should plan to arrive no later than 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 7. This will allow you enough time to pick up the needed information at the registration table, check into your hotel room, change (if necessary), and be on time to the Convention Welcome & Opening Legislation. (Remember that Orlando is in the eastern time zone). Luckily Orlando is a location with hundreds of daily flights from all over the country, so even those flying from the West Coast should be able to arrive in time.

WHAT TO BRING

  • A water bottle to keep with you throughout the day
  • Personal toiletries
  • A camera to document convention memories
  • Sunscreen and a hat
  • Swimsuit
  • Spending money for any meals outside of the convention schedule
  • A notebook for notes during legislation or educational programs
  • A business card (if you have one) so that you can network with brothers
  • Your favorite college shirt or outfit for our College Night Banquet
  • Any chapter/campus tees you want to trade with others
  • Your favorite Triangle gear!


Business Casual – Collared shirts, dress slacks or khakis, closed-toe shoes
Casual – Shorts, polo, t-shirt, jeans, tennis shoes, sandals
Business – Tie, sports coat/blazer, dress slacks, closed-toe shoes

How Do I Check-In?

The location for the registration and check-in table for the 2022 National Convention will be near the ballrooms where we will hold most events. Look for the Triangle Fraternity banners and a member of staff. To expedite the on-site check-in process, please bring the QR code ticket you received upon completion of your convention registration. If you do not have your QR code, don’t worry, we will have a copy on-site.

Upon check-in, you will receive your name tag, the convention program which includes the week’s schedule and program descriptions, and any other important materials that will assist you throughout the week.

Are Meals Provided?

The meals during the event are as follows:

Wall of Fame Lunch and Closing Banquet

These are meals provided to voting delegates and those registered for the full Convention program. Meals for different registration types are as follows:

WEEKEND REGISTRANTS (Friday/Saturday meals)

Friday Box Lunch, Friday College Night/Awards Dinner, Saturday Wall of Fame Lunch and Closing Banquet

SPOUSE REGISTRANTS (Evening meals)

Thursday Welcome Event and Dinner, Friday College Night/Awards Dinner, Saturday Closing Banquet

OTHER OPTIONS

Local alumni and spouses can choose to attend only the Saturday Wall of Fame or Closing Banquet, or the Wall of Fame luncheon can be added to a Spouse registration. The online registration form allows for these registrations/add-ons only.

Triangle Event Room Rate ends; Rooms at the hotel may not be available after this date.
