FROM RHONDA’S DESK

  • Chapters are reminded to update their membership roster with Spring graduates.
  • Chapters should finalize Spring initiated members’ status updates.
  • Remember to pay all outstanding invoices by June 30th.  Old debt can affect the opportunity to vote at National Convention.  It is also not appropriate for the officers coming in the fall to have to manage old debt.
  • Remember to update officers via ChapterSpot as applicable.
  • Chapters should be reporting Spring grades within 30 days of the close of the term.  Contact Barbara Potter if you need assistance, or submit campus grade reports and charitable hours/dollars to her at barbara@triangle.org.

FOUNDATION NEWS

  • Chapter Endowment Funds: Are you a chapter with an established Chapter Endowment Fund? Be sure to get your usage requests in before May 30th and any reimbursement requests by June 15. As a reminder, CEF funds can be used for scholarship grants for members of your chapter, educational grants for certain Triangle Educational programs, grants for educational resources in your fraternity structure, educational grants to cover supplies and equipment for academic competitions, and much more. Questions about using your CEF money, or establishing a Chapter Endowment Fund can be directed here.
  • Alumni Communication Program: Is your chapter looking to expand and centralize Alumni Communications?  The Triangle Education Foundation has created a program that will allow chapters to tap into alumni engagement and wisdom without having to manage it. Packages provide chapters with a consistent, comprehensive communication strategy, website support, easy customization, event consultation and support, and a strategy for social media. All you have to do is provide the content and leave the rest to the Foundation experts. Prices for our packages increase starting July 1. Want more information? Schedule a consultation with Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement & Stewardship, Alex Williams, and join our chapters who are already participating (Michigan, Michigan Tech, Illinois, South Dakota Mines, and Purdue) in this great program!
