Virtual National Founders Day

Active Councilman Application
Applications for Active representative to the National Council are being accepted through May 1.  Applicants must be undergraduates for the 20/21 academic year.  Details and the online application are here: https://www.triangle.org/councilform/  In addition, we are discussing the formation of an Active Council, with one representative per chapter.  Contact drew@triangle.org for more details.

Professional Development Webinar

JOBS Available Now!

TEF UPDATES

2020-2021 Scholarship Applications
The Foundation is currently reviewing scholarship applications submitted for awards.  We expect the selection committee’s work to be completed and winners announced in May.

COVID-19 Micro-Grants
$500 COVID-19 Micro-Grants are available from the Foundation on a first-come, first-served basis.  Applications are at https://smr.to/p65837.

2020-2021 Foundation Board of Directors UG Director Position
The Foundation is searching for an outstanding young Triangle to serve as a full voting member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors for the 2020-2021 school year.  To request an application, please contact the Foundation President, Scott Bova, at sbova@triangle.org.  Click HERE to download the job description.

Chapter Endowment Funds
There are lots of ways to use your Chapter Endowment Funds even though Brothers are not on campus.  Please contact a Foundation Staff member at TEF@Triangle.org if you want to set up a call to strategize how to use it for the rest of the year.  Remember grant applications are due by June 1, 2020 and funds must be spent this school year.

TBHC UPDATES

Alumni groups with housing who are in financial difficulty should contact Mike Fouts (mfouts@trianglebhc.org) to ask about short-term loans or having TBHC consider assuming ownership/management.

Also, nonprofits are included in the several bills from Congress providing help for small businesses.  The Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program may be a solution to your challenges.  Learn more at https://www.sba.gov/page/coronavirus-covid-19-small-business-guidance-loan-resources
